  • General: Advertisers and advertising agencies are jointly and severly liable for payment. Advertisers and agencies also assume liability for content including text, representations and illustrations of advertisements printed in OBSERVER. These groups also assume responsibility for any claims arising therefrom made against the publisher. The publisher reserves the right to reject any advertisement which he feels is not in keeping with OBSERVER standards. All copy is subject to publisher's approval.
  • Other Terms and Conditions: All advertisers are subject to OBSERVER standard advertising contract.
  • Commission: All rates are commissionable to recognize advertising agencies. Advertising must submit camera-ready ad copy in order to receive agency's commission. OBSERVER commission is 15 percent to recognize agencies if paid within 30 days of invoiced date; 2 percent cash discount within 10 days of invoiced date. Terms net 30 days. Interest on past-due balances is charged at the rate of 1.5 percent per month.
  • Issuance and Closing Dates: The OBSERVER Newspapers are published weekly. Complete camera-ready ad copy must be in hands of publisher by Tuesday noon for publishing in that respective week.
