Responsibilities and Details Description
In this position, you will be developing and deploying state-of-the-art
RTL simulation and acceleration capabilities to help power
the validation and debug of Intel's next-generation CPU designs.
You will also be responsible for development of simulation
and/or emulation compilers and runtime engines, integration
with Intel's validation environments, deployment of high-performance
usage methodology and environments, and support to Intel's
validation and debug teams.
Qualifications
You should possess a Master of Science degree or a Ph.D. in
Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer
Science with some experience in CAD tool development and logic
simulation and/or emulation. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong software programming skills, proficiency in C and/or
C++, familiar with Linux* and/or UNIX* based development environments
and tools, script languages such as Perl and TCL and/or TK,
and good software engineering practices
- Familiarity with at least one of Hardware Description Language
(HDL) (Verilog*, System Verilog*, Very High-level Design Language
(VHDL), iHDL, SystemC*)
- Good understanding of computer architecture and circuit
and/or logic design
- Experience in some of the following areas: Register-Transfer
Level (RTL) simulation, Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA)
