Responsibilities and Details Description
In this position, you will be developing and deploying state-of-the-art RTL simulation and acceleration capabilities to help power the validation and debug of Intel's next-generation CPU designs. You will also be responsible for development of simulation and/or emulation compilers and runtime engines, integration with Intel's validation environments, deployment of high-performance usage methodology and environments, and support to Intel's validation and debug teams.

Qualifications
You should possess a Master of Science degree or a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science with some experience in CAD tool development and logic simulation and/or emulation. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong software programming skills, proficiency in C and/or C++, familiar with Linux* and/or UNIX* based development environments and tools, script languages such as Perl and TCL and/or TK, and good software engineering practices
- Familiarity with at least one of Hardware Description Language (HDL) (Verilog*, System Verilog*, Very High-level Design Language (VHDL), iHDL, SystemC*)
- Good understanding of computer architecture and circuit and/or logic design
- Experience in some of the following areas: Register-Transfer Level (RTL) simulation, Field Programmable Gate-Array (FPGA) based emulation technology, HDL modeling, simulation model debug, compiler development, parallel programming, CAD tool development, and design verification

In this position, you will be developing advanced supply chain models to solve complex supply chain design, business planning and operations problems using advanced mathematical and/or statistical methods, simulation and optimization techniques. - Working jointly with business groups [for example, business units, finance, Sales and Marketing Group (SMG), materials, and planning] to analyze and improve the design of the end to end supply chain, product flows, transactions and collaborative processes across the supply chain
- Developing end-to-end models of the physical supply chain to enable product routing, service and cost optimization and enable the development and/or implementation of improved business processes
- Using result of models and analysis to develop solutions (models, rules, tools, and algorithms) to short term, mid term and strategic supply chain design and operations problems
- Using OPL Optimization (linear, integer, and mixed integer programming) tool suite to develop and/or maintain models to minimize supply chain costs (for example, mixing of pallets in ocean containers)
- Using simulation capability to analyze business rules, inventory targets, and penalties and/or priorities contained in supply-demand alignment MIP solvers to understand effect on supply chain metrics (factory loading, inventory levels, and CDD and/or RDD customer service) under changing (stochastic) solver data inputs
- Using simulation to test various inventory control policies and/or priorities and/or target ranges effects on supply-demand alignment processes and supply chain metrics
- Working collaboratively with partner organizations to develop and deploy supply chain models and/or tools, business processes and maintain them to ensure that long term benefits to the business groups
- Driving the development testing and implementation of advanced modeling capabilities tools, methods and process, to solve emerging supply chain problems the drive profitability, adaptability and risk management decisions

Qualifications
You should possess a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering and/or Operation Research, Management Science or Industrial Engineering with emphasis in supply chain and production systems, or a Master's degree in Operations Research with five years of experience in developing and/or implementing simulation and/or optimization model based solutions to complex supply chain problems.

Qualifications
You should possess a Bachelor of Science degree or a Bachelor of Arts degree with three to five years of experience. Additional qualifications include:
- Strong analytical skills with at least three years of Excel* experience
- Strong communication skills as well as a proven track record for making solid decisions and/or management recommendations
- Ability to work as part of a cross functional team, as well as individually in order to drive issues to resolution
- A good understanding of Intel's manufacturing systems and/or processes as well as a perfunctory knowledge of bookings, billings, backlog, and delivery processes and systems
