REVOLUTIONARY DISCUSSION
It’s About Time and Friends of the United African Alliance Community Center present a discussion with former Black Panther Charlotte O’Neal at Sierra 2 Center, 2791 24th St., at 7 p.m. O’Neal, known as Sister Charlotte, is a poet, artist, musician, community activist and co-founder of the UAACC. She and husband Pete O’Neal are former Black Panthers from Kansas City who have lived in exile in Tanzania, East Africa for 35 years. Stephens and the Northern California Chapter Mass Choir of the Gospel Music Workshop of America, based in Oakland. Event begins at 6 p.m. The service will be held at Mt. African Americans for Balanced Health invites the public to attend its Natural Health and Healing Seminar from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The topic will be “The Anatomy and Physiology of the Digestive System.” Acting as presenter will be Angela Burleson, an instructor and certified Advanced Colon Hydro Therapist. Participants will learn how diet and nutrition affect the digestive and eliminatory systems and learn how to respect these systems and restore them to their original functioning state.
